About Vesperink

Vesperink was born from a simple conviction: remarkable books should not be forgotten simply because they have never reached readers in another language.

Our aim is to bring overlooked literary works to Greek audiences through carefully considered translations and thoughtfully produced digital editions.

Our initial focus is on neglected classics and public-domain literature, with a particular interest in Gothic fiction, the supernatural, psychological mystery, and unconventional storytelling.

As the project develops, we also hope to explore collaborations with contemporary independent authors whose work deserves to travel beyond its original language.

Vesperink is guided by extensive professional experience in literary translation and editing, together with a deep appreciation for the craft of storytelling.

We believe that a good translation should preserve more than words. It should carry the atmosphere, rhythm, and distinctive voice of the original work into a new language.
